Our dear Medvedev is not being official spokesman but vitally important he unofficially (although key person in things in Russia, in Kremlin and Security Boss) expresses the more instinctive sentiments behind what will be discussed in Kremlin and these sentiments could perhaps influence decisions and diplomatic objectives. So important to listen to the “many a true word spoken in jest”, as the humor and wit are packaging for real thoughts going on in heads about what would seem fair and reasonable responses, albeit they have to be refined and officially packaged by the Kremlin.
