  1. Terrible things have yet to happen in Ukraine, including in Kherson, all with UK official backing, by UK official inaction or worse. The UK must pay a price for it. USA maybe too. The moral authority of all of the UK governmental, parliamentary and peer ruling class must all be regarded as in dire demise and we must factor into our expectations the dire consequences of this. We might then pull together as people with moral authority and sovereignty which is irrespective of the leadership moral decline. But Ukraine will suffer consequences of UK moral leadership demise too. Sovereignty might be what the UK people can salvage: the fruit of Brexit. The people were not respected by any of the ruling people. Now it might be all we have left.

  2.  @nickupton2123  more and more I come across people tired of mainstream media lies, of fake news from all the mainstream media. Eventually it will reach critical mass and nobody will buy papers and pay paywall fees and the media will dry up. Perhaps that is the problem: fewer and fewer willing to pay when they can get stories for free, so no reporters willing to be honest with integrity if nobody will pay for their work. Presumably the honest ones get no pay and find other jobs. What will happen to dishonest politics if dishonest reporters get no pay? It will all dry up. It will all wither on the vine. Maybe.
