  3. 1972, I found an original in a junkyard in Alabama, no tires, weeds growing up through it, the proprietor said he would take $250. for it, which of course, I did not have and I was only passing through. The owner told me it was an old race car, it had a tube frame, aluminum body. Sadly, I had no idea what I was look at, really...all I was interested in was that engine (which I believe was a six cylinder). If I had only known!

  8. Those cars were built for Europe, back when people did not fly from country to country, but drove. With the distances involved, one had to drive very fast to get there in a reasonable amount of time, hence, cars like this. The humble air cooled VW Bug was a drivers car! Why do you need a V12, when a V8 works better!.

  13. Personally, I prefer a road car as opposed to a drag car! I remember the Boss 302 and the GT350 as my two favorite Mustangs of the era. You can keep all the monster cars!
