@burlhorse61 the facts you lay claim too are nothing like facts. People knew exactly what they voted for. They know exactly what they are fighting for now. People are entitled to vote for whatever reason they wish. How you perceive their vote has more to do with remoaner media bias/perception than reality. An if Xenophobia was their motivation for voting. That reason is no less valid than voting for cheap holidays in France.

Churchill would never entertain the idea of discarding 17.4 million British votes for one second. He would hate the idea parliament regarded British voters as stupid. An he would despise the idea that there was a cult of people in this country who think the UK would fail to stand on its own two feet. Think trying to lambast Boris using one of his Idols is another underhanded remoaner tactic. They have proven themselves to be lower than a snakes belly.

Did Churchill ever have as many knives in his back as Boris does now? In some ways WWII was an easier challenge than this. In WWII half of Parliament was not working in the interests of a foreign power. The enemy within is a much more dangerous foe.

@burlhorse61 actually I was involved in a great many discussions with people. Everyone I know took it extremely seriously and really did their home work. With some people it really did surprise me. Nobody at all took the decision lightly. I find it extremely offensive that people call people stupid over this or imply they don't know what they voted for. They did. They do. An it should be delivered as pledged by Parliament.

@burlhorse61 it's the height of arrogance to assume you know better than 17.5 million people.

No we are not a meritocracy. We are a democracy which is part of the problem we have now.
