Intelligence operatives do masquerade as civilians. It's part of the job to have a relatable civilian alter ego. Of course Putin knows who they are. They are KGB operatives. Where they using their genuine names or false ones? Why travel using false ones if they are just Russian citizens. This type of intelligence does take place. MI5, the KGB and CIA play this game out everyday. Just because James Bond is a work of fiction. Does not mean this clandestine activities do not take place. All fiction has grounding in reality. Your an idiot if you don't believe this takes place. It does... This case is a window into a world we don't see every day. Putin is a former KGB agent. This is a game he understands very well.

@zachdillenger5468 we will see... There will be no problem with these two coming forward and answering a few more questions then ? The British police were more thorough than ushual. An there is far more cctv coverage. These agency's are not as slick as in the movies. They work on a tight budget. They depend on governments keeping things out of the media. Playing the situation down instead of escalating it like the UK have. Call it bias if you like. Personally I'm sure the UK government have called this one right...
