  2. Too right. Rents go up like clock work. Wages have been frozen or regressing for the last 10 years. Rents are far too high. £1000+ a month minimum for anything with two bedrooms. (not in London) Minimum Wage job is £70-80 a shift. Before tax. It's utterly rediculous. You have to clear £1000+ a month before you can even think about food. It's obscene.

  48. Its a great idea. To my mind they should explore the idea of a tunnel like the channel tunnel between Scotland and North Ireland and a Tunnel between Ireland and Wales. Tunnel would be better than a bridge. Keeps the sea open to shipping. I don't understand people rubbishing people with a progressive view of the future. Large scale building has had a positive effect on all our lives.
