  1. It's not like Putin has not got form is it ??? Why would the UK ramp up issues with Russia in the middle of Brexit ? - alot of these things only make sense to Putin. Putin an his massively inflated super ego. The reason why he would not use a gun is because the UK could have played that down as a average gun crime. Kept it out of the media. This got Putin all the attention he needs. An sent the message he wanted to send. Give your brain a chance.

  2. 3# Timing. This is a perfect time to exert Russian influance. Remind the voting Russians how lucky they are to have a fearless leader just before the general election. Chalenge the UK just before the world cup. He knows how the UK value football. More importantly. He knows the UK could do without it during the Brexit negotiation.   5. 2# It does make sense to target this worthless spy who is of no value. The message Putin sent out here is. 'Does not matter how small or insignificant you are. If you betray Russia. The Kremlin will catch up with you and your family.' To the UK the message is. 'We do not fear reprocushions from your government. You are a weak fading power that would not dare oppose us with our Nukes. If we kill people on your soil. What you going to do about it ?' It makes perfect sense to target this individual. What's not to understand ?

  6. 1# Those of you calling for evidence. ARE DUMB !! There is no amount of evidence you could not put before Putin that he could not denounce as 'fake' or replicated. Your just giving them another opportunity to plead innocent. There is no court room to deal with this. To pander to the Russians here would be an appeasement and would be a sign of massive weakness. Which is Putin's end game here.
