  1. UK has some of the toughest arms restrictions. If you are of the mind to do that, then you're gonna do it. I doubt banning crossbows would have helped these women.

  3. @ftumschk  he wasn't several feet away. He tied them up in the living room. People do the same with a hammer or a knife. An executioner uses what is available to him. It's you, lacking perspective and psychological insight. A guy in Leeds was just arrested for building a bomb with a preasure cooker. Petter Sutcliffe used a hammer. Kids in london are using kitchen knives. Where do we stop banning tools and toys ? Why are these people moved to violence? Is the pressing issue at hand.
