Exactly ... I despise the GOP for what is has done the last 20 years as much as anyone. ... and sure... some of these guys were in it. But this is a fight for the future of civilization and the Lincoln Project has chosen the right side. ... and they are a heck of a lot more effective than the far left Antifa woke bullies in convincing people that the future of liberal democracy is NOT Trump.

@MicheleGardini Sure ... without Covid Trump would be in a good position. ... meaning that this is our best chance to get rid of him. And instead of seizing it some purists and illiberal far leftists are doing everything they can to give any doubters an excuse to vote for Trump anyway. This has nothing to do with living in a black/white world... it's a matter of looking at nuances AFTER the clear and present danger to democracy and the climate is ousted.

If Biden wins you get to play another day. If Trump wins, we all lose. Which part of that is so hard to understand? Do any of you holier-than-thou "progressive" saints even contemplate how badly you have lost everything you've been fighting for, if Trump is unleashed on 4 more years? Do you even think there will be an election in 2024 if he wins? Would you prefer fighting your cause in Putins Russia? Now, get the sociopath out of office and let's talk grievances after that. That's the choice. As much as I like Sanders and think he's an honest person with good intentions, he's simply NOT ON THE BALLOT. You can of course fight to abolish the two-party system, so the DNC can't screw progressive candidates over again. And I would support that, since two-party systems are toxic to democracy. But it FUCKING REQUIRES that there still is a democracy!!!! ... and that means Trump has to go and NO behavior making that more likely not to happen is beneficial between now and Nov 3rd, regardless of how pious it might seem to you.
