Guys... if you want to understand this, you have to realize that Sam Harris and Dave Rubin are very different. Rubin might have used Harris and some other actual liberal people as a stepping stone, but he has ended up in a very different and fact-free place.

@MichaelAronson I often doubt that. There are countless of examples where Rubin and Harris have been lumped together on this and related channels. Rubin have been trying to drive the "IDW" narrative, but even those who also promoted this like Bret Weinstein have realized that Rubin have ended up in a very dark, dishonest and fact-free place.

@MichaelAronson Which was exactly my point that that was a WAY too simplistic view. Anyone who has been listening to Sam Harris would know that he didn't take it serious. The IDW thing was promoted by Rubin because he thought it gave him a sliver of credibility and even those who also promoted it (like Bret Weinstein) have seen through Rubin now. IMNSHO the whole IDW thing was stupid anyway.

@MichaelAronson huh? Whatever... I stand by my point and that this channel has historically totally failed to understand the huge divide between people like Rubin and Harris.

@MichaelAronson I generally try to keep my self informed about what's happening - also on outlets which might challenge my beliefs. I think that's healthy.
