  1. I think it's probably pretty accurate. Putins idea about a continuation of anti-russian history is just absurd nonsense, but he is of course right that it's probably not a good idea for a country run as an organized crime syndicate to have a neighbor speaking almost the same language and having the same religion and sharing a lot of history become an example of a prospering liberal democracy. But maybe that's a reason in it self that he shouldn't be allowed to dictate what other countries decide for themselves.
