@aucourant9998 Well ... first of all, because I'm not a "left/green activist". The only way that came into the conversation was because you look at someone not rejecting the established science on the topic and immediately conclude that person must be a "leftist". ... I think that says more about you than me.

Actually ... it's usually the climate science deniers who try to pretend it's an on/off question ... with nonsense like "It's too late to stop climate change we just have to adapt". Well ... sure... the misinformation campaign (also from idiots like Lomborg) has been going on so long that it's too late to prevent it from having any consequences. But it can always get worse. And that's why action to stop emissions is still very much needed. In fact... a lot of Lomborg's manipulative arguments used to go along the lines of pretending we could sum up all the costs in 2100 and compare, - pretending that there was no further damage done after new years eve 2101.

"Climate Science Deniers" is a term people who don't let their understanding of science be dictated by ideological bias use because there's not a shorter easier phrase to use - as there is with "Evolution Deniers". > Nobody denies that the climate changes; it has constantly changed for billions of years. ... which is completely besides the point and a clear sign that you do not intend to be objective about Climate Science. And that the reason for your bias is ideological also clearly shows since you start throwing around terms like "leftists" and talk about political solutions, when the topic in fact was whether the science was correct or not. You're all too transparent.

@RevoltingPeasant123 Strange how you accuse me of extrapolating when you instead of relating to the physics just pull a story about what you were told 70 years ago up and extrapolates that that tells you something about the science. ... sigh.
