And 18:56 No... it was not the sea between Denmark and Sweden which froze. It was the sea between Funen and Lolland (the Swedes came via Jutland).

I'm also not sure it's correct to say that Harald Bluetooth "expanded the kingdom into southern Sweden". Sure. Harald Bluetooth reigned in Jutland at Jelling and he gradually took hold of all of Denmark. Before him there were other local Danish lords. Like in Lejre near Roskilde on Zealand. But Scania was not Swedish at the time. It was just another of these local Danish areas. In fact... it might have been the original Danish homeland before the tribe of "Danes" pushed previous Jutland tribes out of Jutland.

And ... sorry, but ... yes, the British attacked Denmark in 1801 ... but it was only in 1807 that they stole the fleet.

Argh!! ... At 11:50 ... something was of here, I sensed. The murder in Roskilde story is wrong. It was not Knud who killed Svend and then escaped to Jutland. It was the other way around. Knud was killed by Svend's men. Valdemar then defeated Svend on Grathe hede - not so far from where I live.

So ... please. At 3:13 you show a picture of the bog body "Tollundmanden". He's from the iron-age. Around year 0 or the century before. More than 800 years before the Viking age. To my knowledge, there are no bog bodies from the Viking age.
