  1. I had a stab at playing the Wargame "Stalins war" (*) the other day. It's a weird game. It's card-driven and if the German player doesn't get the "Winter uniforms" card during the first few turns they will have a serious disadvantage for all the coming winter turns - which basically creates a completely different game with a different game balance. I don't like games like that were you basically start by rolling a die to se whether the game should be heavily biased one way or another.
