The main thing here is that they are illiberal and totalitarian. ... and it has all the hallmarks of a religious cult. The only reason to call them "left" is because they are in opposition to a rather unified and equal cultist right-wing movement in the form of Trumpism. Unfortunately ... they are directly helping Trump getting reelected with all their absurd demands and behavior.

  3. I wish people would stop degrading Greta Thunberg . She might be autistic and emotional ... but she actually has got the science right - contrary to many left-wing politicians/media figures. She's not claiming that the world will end in 12 years ... the truth about the climate situation is actually scary enough as it really is.

  4.  John Davies  nope... ... and I suspect that if you think it should be, then there will be some underlying misunderstanding about what the science actually says about climate change which leads you to that belief. Mind you.... I'm completely aware that a lot of media/public/politician figures gets the science wrong which leads them to exaggerations or just being plain wrong about the climate. - but to the best of my knowledge Thunberg has actually made a great effort to get her underlying facts right by engaging actual scientists.
