Yeah, I'm inclined to agree with this myself. The principal trading partners of the Harrapans were the ancient Persians, the City States of Summer, and even the far flung Kingdom of Eygpt. As soon as they were done in by the sea peoples, steppe invasions from north, along with being exhausted by what essentially a series of WW before this, whatever regional global economy that existed at the time all but collapsed. Harrapa was very dependent on this economy as a manufacturer of finished goods much like the Minonans. This, along with a steppe invasion to Harrapa itself, eventually is perhaps the start of what caused ancient India to become more inward looking.
