Landlord hate predates Marxism by a longshot. Everyone thinks before the 19th century this type of hate never existed. It did it's just people had different names for it. The French Revolution was basically caused by this under a Monarchal Feudal System. The American Revolution about it as well but under a different guise and form. Etc etc.. there were different names for this going back long before the idea of capitalism came around in the 17th century. Every time people were pushed to the brink by other "let them eat cake" types bad things happened and usually at the expense of said types.
