It's the individualistic culture of America. Many cultures coming heere are more communal, so people help each other out in different ways, that includes sometimes giving each other money to start businesses. That's something that's frowned upon in many generational american cultures which again stems from individualism. The thing is, no man is a island and as much as people like to parrot that saying, I'm really not sure how many actually believe it.

This is the truth. People should rise up in theory but in practice they won't. So the country continues to act more and more like Brasil or India which also the way the are because people accept corruption as a fact of life.

That's the answer right here. People either didn't watch their parents or grandparents or inquire about there social/family life. I watched and asked all of them. This along with death is basically why all them didn't have lives outside the family. Even in the family they didn't even keep with their own siblings. My mother and father can't remember certain cousins, aunts, or uncles.... but it's not on purpose😅

Does anyone remember Idiocracy ? It basically warned us about this... but I guess all fell on deaf ears in the end.

@dertythegrower People die in revolutions and they are always very very extremely bloody. One girl dying waving a flag is should not have been enough to stop said movements. My family came to the US after a revolution is which a good half of the family died and rest were scattered around the globe... but it worked in the end and freedom was achieved. I'm part of the scattered disapora so I have no place in the new country however sadly. Anyways people may want to avoid something like this at all cost... but the truth is the people with power never willing give up power. You have to rip it out of their cold dead hands occasionally. That said this takes more than just a few people to achieve and it's not something I relish happening as means loosing more family members... but you can't get something for nothing.

Radioactive ashes that won't disisapte for thousands of years. They'll effectively become reduced to being Morlocks like in the Time Traveler.

Ideally we should be all be able to live independently on our own by 25 or somewhere in our late 20s. However if that doesn't happen and you are fortunate enough to have parents that allow you to live with them you should be actively trying to improve your situation. That means paying for your all your own bills, living frugally, going to school for realistic things if your unskilled (not taking out gigantic loans you cannot afford to pay back to do it), working, paying for groceries, helping with the chores around the house. Were not living in the 80s, 90s or early 2000s anymore. The good times are over. Were in the midst of a recession bordering on depression. The national debt is sky high and inflation is through the roof. The soup and bread lines could very well be opening back up in the near future if they haven't already. Boomers who have controlled all the wealth for generations are no actively going broke or homeless upon on reaching retirement age despite having saved or have a pensions. The good times are over. Everybody's gotta pull their own weight now if they are able.

Ahhh but there is! In trying to sell you something they just made easy money. Same applies to the sexual market. Look no further than OF or Porn Studios! XD Remember what PT Barnum said "There's a sucker born every minute"!

@AK47BLACKice It really depends on the denomination and the church. Not all churches are the same. Also the main purpose of church is worshiping God. If they are really good Christians... they shouldn't be casting stones.. and therin lies the main problem. Finding a church where the people actually want to be there. Not go there out of obligation, tradition, or turning it into a house of gossip.
