@kup6659 True but let's not pretend the old colonial rivalries are not still play when the former colonial countries, colonies & powers interact with each other. Mexico would love to get it's grubby hands back on the former territories it lost in Mexican American War if not just to get it's hands on the fruits prosperity created in those places by "Yankee" culture. Likewise Yankees would love it if Latin America ditched Spanish for English and joined the Anglo spehere culturally. Both are about as likely as the moon being made of cheese.
