  2. Because you need both to build and integrate conquests. It's easy to take a castle. Anyone can do that. It's much harder to hold onto said castle for any meaningful period of time.

  6. ​ @Qoral-ef5rz LOL that was always a pipe dream until the pre-modern era. Not even Islam could halt the ambitions of the Central Asians and Persians. Nevermind the fact the large majority of the people they were now attacking were also Muslims now 😂. Who needs to fear the likes of the Kafir when you have enemies like this within the Dar Al-Islam itself. There's no fight like a family fight lol.
