@johnnyearp52 That's the neolithic farmers genes and the fact the roman's practically conquered half of europe. This is all driven on by fear, more specifically fear of darker people's capturing lighter people for sexual purposes, and or corrupting the existing cultural mix of people existing. This happened many times in Europe and the UK over thousands of years. As result you have a divided continent riddled with tribal, cultural, and ethnic differences. Old cultures like that of the Celts or Britons who been since the Bronze Age if not before were certainly not gaining anything from the influxes of all the new peoples. Perhaps early Americans thought it a attempt to reverse a thousand or so years of history and wipe the slate clean.

It is without a doubt. Colorism gives birth to racism which in turn gives birth to more colorism which then gives birth to more racism.

Because the English have always been racist. Even before the very first Englishman set foot in the Americas the same ideas that shaped the elitist views of new Englanders had already existed in England for hundreds of years. Probably due to feudalism and the multiethnic nature of the UK. First the English practiced playing empire on the remnants of the Celts. Then once they discovered the Americas... they just went buck wild.

Depends on wherin the US you go. One person's white is another man's brown, black, yellow. That might sound awful but it's truth as the US is not a monolithic culture.

Exactly and this is specifically from the neolithic farmers and later expansion of the roman empire into the south. The English also had similar views about different celtic people's before they came to the Americas for same reasons which is partly why they were so persecuted.
