@jeanhenly710 Obama set up a specialist pandemic center in the US and they had specialists working in China looking for this kind of disease. Trump closed that all down despite scientists saying for years it was only a matter of time before this happened. If Trump had not sacked all the US scientists working in China then the world would have known about the virus WEEKS before China told the world. This is all on Trump's utter incompetence.

Diseases are a natural phenomenon. You can't blame China for that. Trump made this catastrophe thousands of times worse than it needed to be by doing nothing but bullshitting the public, shrugging off the problem and ignoring experts.

When Trump closed the borders thousands of passengers had already traveled to the US from China, So it was too late and ineffective. And even then Trump only stopped Chinese passengers from entering the US, he still allowed people from other countries coming from China into the US. Closing the borders does very little according to the doctors. The ONLY thing that makes an impact is the behavior of the people. So you need lock-down and testing testing testing. That's what the experts have been saying from the beginning. Closing a border after the virus had arrived did nothing much.

@TheRockkickass "now we r testing more than every other country" - Well that's possible. But I would not take Trump's word for that, I would have to go to a credible source. I suspect South Korea is hard to beat in terms of their response and testing.
