@Nswix "You just described the EU and why we voted leave." - Exactly. Neither makes any sense. Take Brexit to its logical conclusion and England would break apart into Wessex, Sussex, Essex, The Midlands etc.... Brexit is about moving backwards because people don't have the vision to move forward. Brexiteers are introspective and unable or unwilling to cooperate with other nations at a time when the world is becoming a smaller place through technology and cooperation is essential to survival.

I have never seen any evidence whatsoever to suggest Brexit would be "successful". All logic tells me that it will be hugely damaging in the short term and in the long term we will recover but we won't be in such a good place as we are in the EU. There is simply no better trading zone in the world.
