  1. The video of that statue being torn down and thrown in the river (where it belongs) will teach millions of people for many years to come more about that history than the statue itself ever would.

  2. A lot of people are using fake indignation as an excuse to have something against protesting the problems of racism we have in this country. They need some "legitimate" reason for thier passive or active participation in that racism. Whereas you can't condone destruction, you should at least understand it. If you can't even do that then you ARE part of the racism problem in this country.
