Comments by "Lelly Parker" (@lellyparker) on "Chancellor gives post-Brexit warning to businesses" video.
Surprise surprise, Boris won the election on his deal and it turns out he has no intention whatsoever of forming any long term relationship with the EU. In 11 months its NO-DEAL just like Boris wanted all along.

Andrew H "Fantastic isnt it" - Our Prime Minister lied to the country in order to win an election and now has no intention of implementing what people voted for. And you think that is "fantastic"? I guess this is why we have Brexit. People just love to be lied to and then ripped off and stabbed in the back.

@georgedebenham1042 And yet the Leave Campaign broke the law to achieve their tiny majority and based their entire campaign on lies. Why do you call that "democracy"? You are correct in that "democracy" is at stake here and it is losing badly because Tories have bought the popular press and even broke the law to tip the balance of the (advisory) referendum. Also more people voted for "remain" parties in the General Election than for "leave" parties but our FPTP voting system gives more seats to Tories than any other party, how is that democratic? Britain became more than 50% remain immediately after the crooked referendum and has stayed that way ever since. The "will of the people" changed and a new (legal and fair) referendum would have proved it. THAT would have been a step back along the road to democracy.

@Death to the EU regime "No deal is better than a bad deal... Remember?????" - If only what we had with the EU was a bad deal! Then there would be some reason for all this. So after leaving the best deal available, the one that other countries are scrabbling to join, all deals are going to be bad in comparison. And no. No deal is NOT better than a bad deal. No deal is by definition the worst trading position possible.

@georgedebenham1042 "u still haven’t excepted the referendum have you" - Why do you think that? We still live in a free country don't we? We are still allowed to disagree with the government are we not? Or would you vote that away too?

@georgedebenham1042 "we’ve won..." - That just about sums up the level of childishness among leave voters. It is a game to them. But just because you "won" doesn't mean everybody else has to suddenly start agreeing with you. What you "won" is a pile of shite. Everyone who understands that is going to keep on saying it. You have been conned and you are following buffoons that do not have your best interests in mind. So it doesn't matter that you "won". What you "won" is going to be criticized from now into oblivion and it is only a matter of time before you realize that what you "won" is actually "Last Prize". Oh what? Did they tell you that you were voting for "First Prize?". They lied.

@georgedebenham1042 "I use this terminology as it brings out the saltiest if remoaners as you can see you have risen to the bait" - Like I said, childish.

@georgedebenham1042 "leave won the referendum whichever way you dress it up" - Who is disputing that?

@georgedebenham1042 "why don’t you come along to the party" - Families are being torn up because the government is not giving millions of EU members resident status. Jobs are being lost. Businesses are going to struggle. Britain is losing credibility on the world stage and facing all but assimilation into the USA (aka Puerto Rico). Workers protections are being removed as are human rights protections. Britain is losing the HUGE amount of power we used to wield within the EU. Now our businesses still have to follow EU rules and we have no say in it. If you want to celebrate all that, its your business.

@georgedebenham1042 "how do you think we managed pre 1973" - No one said we won't "manage". But families are getting torn apart because millions of EU citizens are losing their resident status. Some businesses will fail while others succeed, but job losses and turnaround are inevitable. Working people WILL be poorer, even though they will "manage". Britain has already lost a lot of credibility and it has already lost its considerable power within Europe. We continue to be DEPENDENT on Europe for 50% of our GDP. So we are not gaining any "independence" in any meaningful way. If you want to celebrate our utter inability to forge mutually beneficial legal agreements with other countries, go right ahead. I see it as a massive and cowardly weakness that I will not be celebrating.

@David Graham Brown All the more reason not to celebrate what is happening because of Brexit.

@David Graham Brown What did I say that was incorrect?

@David Graham Brown Your last comment doesn't tell me what you think I said that was incorrect. Why don't you re-read what I said that you believe is incorrect and copy the incorrect words into a reply? That way it will be perfectly clear what you think I said that is incorrect.
