@archvaldor "so we should fix the problems with the same policies" - They don't have even remotely the same policies. Obviously they both need to tax because that's where the Tories left us - without any money and a huge public services bill.

@DavidWilliams-p1n Catastrophe is where the Tories left us. it's why they were kicked out. Our schools are literally falling down. The NHS is beyond desperate, public services are all broken. Borrowing to the max to pay for Covid, and the economy is in the toilet. The public knew this very well by the end of the Tories rule. No one should expect anything to get better quickly when the government has no room to borrow and no room to tax. Money doesn't magic itself out of nowhere.

The economy was always going to get worse before recovering from the Tories/Brexit/Covid/War. Labour would have been better letting the Tories win so the Tories would get the blame for what the Tories did.

The British Public basically think the economy can recover from Tories, Brexit, Covid and War instantly and only gave Labout 2 weeks to fix everything. Now they are disappointed because magic isn't real. Moreover both the far-left and the far-right are attacking Labour. Labour has 2 main political enemies, the right-wing press and the left-wing press.
