  11. I'm mildly disappointed that you didn't mention the central role that embassies play in every country's intelligence operations, legal covers for field officers and all that. It would need a separate video to deal in depth, but it's an inextricable part of embassy life AFAIK.

  19. Not sure if this changes any conclusions here, but one huge difference between US and European cities is that almost nobody lives in the city center in US cities (certainly in Boston), while city centers in Europe are both residential and wealthily so.

  32. The USA never signed the Geneva Convention, IIRC. We do lots of other, worse things in violation of the Convention too. (The use of napalm and white phosphorous comes to mind. Again, going from memory here, so correct me if I'm wrong.)
