  4.  @as7river  I agree that hybrid setups are probably the best solution in the short term. What we really need are two things: a. An actually green power grid at scale b. Better battery chemistry (or capacitors, whichever) that can be mass-produced at scale without world-ending levels of pollution. As far as Chinese-made EVs, I'd be genuinely curious to see the stats on car fires from your local fire department or district. How many were there over the past year, how many were FFVs vs Hybrids vs EVs, and if possible a manufacturer-specific breakdown on each. Hell, I'd like to see this across the entire US. If we had that, we could actually argue based on a set of data rather than rumors and counter-rumors, which is where we're at right now. 😕 As things stand... I've seen a hell of a lot of videos. /shrug
