  1.  @joescott  Titan has a reducing atmosphere, you fill your lighter with an oxidizer. And even going straight up you are in free fall as soon as you turn off the propulsion (at least as long as you have cleared the atmosphere). You don't have to leave the Earth's gravitational field to experience free fall. You just have to fall freely.
