@g3neration216 They didn't do anything to the open carry demonstration which followed the order; and what sort of creep would want something like that? Are you rooting for a complete breakdown of the rule of law?

@fignewtoneater "felons cannot own firearms. This exception is not mentioned anywhere in the Constitution." The Fourteenth Amendment, which extends federal Bill of Rights to an obligation for the states, has a "due process" clause in Section 1. The Fifth Amendment also qualifies Bill of Rights protection with the same "due process". Due process is getting convicted in a legitimate trial. If conviction didn't change the status of your rights, you couldn't be fined or incarcerated, and George Soros could die a happy creep. Sob stories about bad prosecutions are beside the point. The general remedy is to reform the court or the felony laws. The specific remedy is to get a new trial or a pardon. Encouraging convicted felons to exact revenge or steer the ship of state is neither just nor prudent.

@3rdreichball525 "Natural law transcends government" Now you're changing your ground. Your original argument was that it was unconstitutional. "The rigbt for every person to defend themselves is unalienable." That's why we don't let convicted felons have guns.
