@robc6220 "People aren’t poor because of migration." Yes, obviously and inevitably when you import 20 people to compete for every job you create, you undermine the bargaining position of the worker. This is supply and demand, econ 101. You may increase the GDP, which IS NOT working class prosperity, but you slaughter GDP PER CAPITA, which DOES correlate with working class prosperity. "Blame the people with all the money," OK, blame the rich people who are undermining the British worker by enabling overwhelming migration. In the short term, this works for THEM.

@Johnnyhardcore4ever You mean their capitol assets. Their personal assets and anything they can convert they can take. Their main asset is their business skills, which always travel with them. They can't USE their capitol assets in the UK, so there is no reason for them not to abandon them. You laugh like it is some sort of victory that you've destroyed your production infrastructure.

Dismissing the notion because they're billionaires is prejudice. Billionaires face greater temptations, but they are not automatically villains. Call common sense naive if you want to double down on being a fool. Every reasonable person knows I'm right. Elon, at least, has been working for what he saw as the benefit of mankind since he sold his interest in E-bay. All of his ventures have a "save the world" angle from his point of view. There are MUCH easier and safer ways to make money. There are good and evil billionaires like everybody else. How could it be otherwise? Because Marx said so?

They will certainly try. It's a little harder and more expensive to keep track of everybody when the population is spread out. You don't have the UK's population density.

@tomjohn5532 I don't know how it is in the UK, but here in the US, it's the conservatives who read, books won't give you much outreach.

As far as politicians are concerned, non-voters don't exist. You aren't "sending a message". You're silencing yourself. Voting for even a minority party conveys more information to politicians and makes you a detectable target for policy pandering. It takes real research and effort to establish that all politicians are equally useless, and usually in any given election that isn't quite true. You're trying to rationalize sloth and despair into some sort of virtue.

If your oppressors weren't worried about the truth getting out online, they wouldn't bother arresting people for it.

You could do worse. Many have.

@sedzialaguna Leaving to Europe won't solve the problem. So Brexit is irrelevant.

Government transfer programs aren't the way to go about helping your neighbor. It's the most immoral and inefficient way to help the needy. If socialists were the ones who wanted to look after each other, they would be the ones giving to charities and volunteering. And they are not.
