  3. If you have a position on this issue, nobody can figure it out from this. Cruz is holding the line and you're busting his chops for it. The laws are in place to close the border. "Immigration reform" has always been a code word for amnesty, which encourages more illegal immigration.

His mother was a US citizen, so he is a "natural born citizen" in the Constitutional sense. He has always been a US citizen from birth and never had Canadian citizenship. Canadian law does not convey citizenship to aliens born in Canada. So the "born in Canada" is fact, the rest is lies. Trump's lies to sabotage Cruz' presidential primary run.

  8. They didn't. Border security has been issue number one for the Republicans for years now. The only difference is now we have LEVERAGE. If Biden contends that this is election year posturing he can take the issue away by taking the House Republican compromise: actually close the border and you get the Ukraine funding. With some interference by the legacy media, everybody would have forgotten his weakest issue by November. Biden cares more about keeping the border open than winning the election. Your narrative won't bear the most cursory examination.

If they are given a LEGAL right to stay, then a future administration can't deport them, and more Democrat constituents get born here with not only the right to vote, but the right to run for president.   17. Dude, it might all be in vain now but it is their duty to TRY to make a difference now in a situation that worsens by the day. If they drop the subject for political advantage, they won't be worth our vote in November. Real people are dying here, private property and infrastructure is being lost, and a wicked anti-democratic plan is being advanced by the status quo. Cruz is doing his job in this matter.

"The good news is that he’s also embarrassingly old" That's not going to help Biden in a binary choice. Biden is 3 year older and much the worse for wear.
