@garysutherland7004 "Restricted" means that they are flagged in the same category with porn and inflammatory racist material, and are automatically not available in school libraries, or any place that wants to use the restricted flag to stay away from sexually explicit content, for instance. I am a Christian who loves him for what he clearly and openly is. A secular scholar who knows the value of the Judao-Christian tradition to freedom and the West. There is no passage in the Bible requiring me to hate non-Christians.

SPLC is evil because they label mainstream political opinion as hate speech. Anything that differs materially from their party line. By consulting them to arbitrate content you are letting the totalitarians veto political speech. You are placing a radical leftist censor on what is being sold as a mainstream medium.

Is reminding us they're rich supposed to make us suspicious of their ideas? Remember, they are not claiming Patreon has done something to THEM already. They are making a principled stand because of what Patreon has done to SOMEONE ELSE, someone they are not even in perfect agreement with.
