19:35 "I'm sure definitely what happened on October 7th was disgusting, like definitely it happens a lot terrorism is bad all true: I don't want your like multi- thousand year old blood Feud being litigated in the streets of New York City." A little history lesson. lslam has only been at war with lsrael for about 80 years. lslam has been at war with the West for 1500 years. We aren't inheriting lsrael's war; lsrael is inheriting ours. Why do you think WE ARE the "GREAT Satan"? There is nothing "private" about the Middle East conflict and it's "regional" only in the operational sense, not strategically or telologically.. It's just the current hot war front of a multi-century program of WORLD CONQUEST from the lslamic point of view. Thanks to lsrael, we have the luxury of being able to compartmentalize it in our strategic thinking. That's OK, as long as we don't cultivate any long term illusions about it. Of course we care about who wins for a moral and a pragmatic reason. The moral reason is that the lslamic radicals want a pogrom in lsrael that would make the HoIocaust look like a food fight. (That is a bad thing that is worth some money to prevent.) The practical reason is that if lsrael loses WE ARE NEXT. The radical Islamists are a continuation of a millennium long quest to destroy all non-Islamic cultures, root and branch. (I apologize to friends of Israel for understating the case. It's just that the bare bones argument is easy to state and hard to refute.)

Interesting and enlightening talk, flaws and all. Take a like.

Corporate debts are not enforceable? I suppose that would work for you if a corporation doesn't owe you money. (Got a 401K? IRA? Bank Account? Stocks?) Somehow I doubt you even voted against any of this.

"Human and AI Comparison" Actually, understanding turns out to matter, and "AI" doesn't understand anything. How do I know this? 1. Empirically. AI constantly PROVES it has no clue what's going on. 2. Theoretically. Goedel's Theorem proved that understanding is not algorithmic (according to Penrose). They say that near human level AI is less than 10 years away. They said the same thing when I was 10. They have been periodically saying the same thing all my life. I am 65. Forgive me, but I find the "imminent inevitability" of this development less plausible with every passing year. Lt. Cmdr Montgomery Scott, Starfleet: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me" Don't get me wrong, I'm not against AI research. We keep getting interesting and even useful stuff from it. We also keep not getting human level intelligence. Investment in AI might pay off if your only payoff doesn't hinge on producing General AI. Pick a modest concrete goal (which you have some clue as to how to accomplish with an algorithm) and pursue THAT. The "low hanging fruit" is tangible and attainable. The "singularity" is bunk.
