@KemetledAfrica Just over five years ago the crashes of two 737 Max jets killed 346 people. That's recent by industry standards for aircraft well within their "design life". That does not mention the numerous lesser mishaps since like a door falling off at altitude, potentially deadly software bugs in the fly-by-wire loop and the like. And lets mention the ongoing saga of Starliner, for which Boeing has been paid more for failure than SpaceX/Dragon has been paid for years of operational success. And SLS has cost more than double the bid and is behind schedule to boot. So are you ignorant, or a gaslighting shill? Boeing is in shambles, surviving on the basis of its government connections, not its performance, and DEI is only part of its problem. Boeing's shareholders need to insist on a major overhaul of the business. Even if corruption ensures the continued financial solvency of the corporation, a moral duty applies to honest business practices, integrity, and the preservation of human life.

@HaleyChain-vw8rr "How smart was the person that came up with that idea ?" That would also depend on what that person's GOAL was as well as his intellectual power. One should reserve final judgement on the stupidity/malice spectrum until it can be rationally resolved.
