@1hanthony-Ant You're saying that other states and DC never extradite criminals wanted for crimes committed in another state? It is the fact that the crime was committed in Florida that gives Florida the jurisdiction. Hypothetical conspirators residing in other jurisdictions is not a problem du jure. If some folk defy the law, then it may become a problem de facto, but that's a different matter.

@jabreck1934 Developing farmland is not destroying it. Heck, Florida farmland is sand. There is no shortage of sand in Florida. Vast numbers of refugees and investment dollars are fleeing blue states for red states. These people will need houses and jobs. Democrats may love homelessness and unemployment, but decent folk do not. Cali has the advantage in agricultural production because of all that slave labor.

AesopsFablesthe2nd That's what we're investigating to find out. There is no need to "justify" the authority with the primary jurisdiction investigating a crime. That happens every day. Any deviation from that norm would require a justification.

@thegodbox12 You are holding forth Castro's Cuba as a positive example? That tells us everything we need to know about your knowledge and judgement. Cuba under Castro was about as close as Earth comes to hell.

Milan Radovich For those of you too young to know better MR is lying about Nixon. If Nixon's enemies had that on him, they would have charged him with that.

The reallocation of land away from agricultural land to more pressing and profitable uses is not an existential threat to the US as long as we're exporters of agricultural goods.
