[Biden]"is already 70 days longer than we expected." Hey, I called this before he was inaugurated (I think even before the election). The "conventional wisdom" was that Biden voters knew what they were getting; they were getting Harris. But this is even better for the oligarchy. We all know Biden isn't running things, we just DON'T KNOW WHO IS! If Biden gets any independent notions he knows that he is out the door, the way has already been prepared for it. If something they do becomes political poison, they have their scapegoat (and even HE has an excuse of sorts). Arguably Harris thinks or could claim she has some sort of mandate, and thus could act independently of her would-be handlers. Better to leave things as they are for as long as it is feasible. The buck stops nowhere. It just achieved escape velocity.
