"60 Minutes" has been doing deceptive editing since the show started in the '60s. They were fake news before fake news was cool. That is the reason for the way they shot their interviews, cut from closeup of questioner to closeup of answerer. They did this so that they could take an answer, or part of an answer, and edit it in after a completely different question make it look seamlessly like a response to THAT question. They did this all the time. And then if you don't want to be interviewed that way it was implied it was because you had something to hide.
