  16. No, a Franklin stove with an air intake flue will keep you comfortable (with more work, granted) in a Northern US winter. Basically, mankind had cold on the ropes when they domesticated fire, and fairly licked when they developed sound houses and Franklin stoves. Heat kept killing us in our homes (and many of the living wishing they were dead) until air conditioning. I wouldn't hesitate to spend a night in an Amish home in midwinter. I wouldn't consider doing so in midsummer.

Each of these enemies were far more dominant in their realm of operation than China is on the world scene. We are still here. They are not. You see, it is the anvil that wears out the hammers. You aren't even succeeding in wiping out Christianity or other religions in China. By 2030 there will be more Christians IN CHINA than communist party members, if present trends continue, despite your frantic efforts at suppression. There will always be evil in the world until the Lord returns, but the particular evil known as communism is headed for the dustbin of history. Boast! Rant! Complain! Deny! The janitor with the broom can't hear you.

Foreigners once exploited China so you say its time for native Chinese to subject China to utter despotism and slavery, worse than the worst they got in the "Time of Humiliation"? NOBODY wants to live under the crap the CCP is dishing out. Not Taiwan which has a thriving democratic society. Not Hong Kong which HAD a democratic local government and a thriving economy. Not the mainland Chinese who would get out if they could. There is no moral consideration under which the CCP has a right to subjugate the Taiwanese against their will. Every instance of the CCP absorbing more slaves is a humanitarian tragedy. Every instance of slaves escaping the CCPs clutches is a humanitarian triumph.
