  1. National self defense has never been accomplished without civilian casualties. WW2 was not. Fortunately, at that time the adults were in charge in the West or the Holocaust would have been completed and the Reich would be here to this day. That principle is particularly true when your enemies' own civilian casualties are embraced as a tactic for manipulating public opinion. Allowing the "human shield" tactic to work as intended by the perps is not a moral solution.
