  1.  @RetiredInThailand  "Hamas has said they would change that charter when Israel negotiated an actual peace deal, and that Hamas has said they are willing to accept a deal that includes the 1967 borders." Israel did multiple times and Hamas did not. It is Hamas that refuses any peace that involves the continued existence of Israel.

  2. There are rules to war. Israel is following these. Hamas is not. Those rules do not preclude civilian casualties. They didn't in WW2. Fortunately, the adults were in charge then or those rules would long since have passed away, along with the rest of the Jews in Europe. There is no rule that says you have to hold your fire if you're being shot at, and civilians being held on the target is NOT an exception.

  3. You apparently care enough to comment. What part of Hamas in the title confuses you? Or did you watch about the "Hamas Charter" expecting that charter to have different content?
