  2. The reason why the income gap is increasing is because the administration is importing people who undercut the common man in his bargaining position for a job. The administration and fed policy is to "grow the economy" and "create jobs" and "fight inflation" by undercutting the common man and his wages. That is why the "modest GDP growth" is fake growth. What matters is GDP PER CAPITA. If you import 10 people to compete for every job you "create", this does not enhance general domestic prosperity. Rich get richer, and poor get poorer and businessmen who stick to hiring Americans has a competitive disadvantage. I can remember when Democrats used to understand this.
