  2. That would make sense except the line of succession doesn't end with the third person, and everybody in all the positions in the line is currently a Republican. He meant Trump, Musk, Vance because those are the prominent swamp clearers. That's how you send a message. (Besides, its a Democrat tradition. Booth was the head of a conspiracy to assassinate the president, the VP, and the Secretary of War.)
