SpaceX has garnered 80% of the launch market, government AND commercial, by underselling the competition and they still make bank because they can reuse the boosters and nobody else can. Boeing gets the cost plus contracts, and gets more government money than SpaceX. They got more than twice as much for failing with Starliner than SpaceX got for delivering with Dragon. Launch contracts, development contracts for Dragon, Lunar Starship, and in orbit refueling. That's it. Tesla has been excluded from all incentive programs for electric vehicles since the Biden administration. Ford gets it, GM gets it, Tesla doesn't.
