  1. This only works because the number is so big that it doesn't "fit" the caculator screen and it rounds up. These are near misses.

  2. It is believed now that Fermat didn't know the solution, he probably knew a faulty one. To prove it they needed XX century mathematics and hundreds of brilliant minds. There was NO way he knew how to prove it back then.
