Fuck this guy, "going to the military" shouldnt be the number one concern, I agree with him on the point of public health, we as a population is getting less and less fit, but the way he is saying implies that the issue is with the people that arent healthy not "trying hard enough" or "toughning up" to get in the military like they did in the past.
The world has changed, consumerism culture and the sheer amount of information from social medias influence everyone, including you, to act differently. If the consequence of that is public health is declining we should urgently rethink this system and try to mitigate the damages. And trying to influence people that are already fucked up to enter the military, which is asking for deindividualization and future mental issues.
We, as a society, are fucked so either we change that or ride the way down with it. And imo the way the military works, specially in the USA, is a significant part of the issue

@BS-jg7dy It has started because the world doesn't want the US to be the middleman of global trade. Yeah, since the pandemic and this War it has become more and more clear the US isn't the "global leader" it once was, so it makes sense for now be the time this has truly "started". But be sure this need of a substitute for the dollar and stopping the US having advantages over every single country economically will not end soon.
There is no reason for the BRICS to stop pushing this shift, even with a eventual lost war by Russia (which I hope happens, to be clear), and given the BRICS already have a largest share of global GDP than the G7 (including the US), and trends pointing for it by 2030 be over 50% of global GDP, I don't see they not getting their way. The only other possible future I see is the US starting WWIII, which will not end well for all, and after the dust settles, I'm not sure we will even be living in a capitalist society anymore.

5:50 as someone who likes maths recreationally, It doesn't exactly add up to 170%, because the people who are in the first set (people who like with their elbows) definetely aren't in the second set (people who can't like with their elbows), but not necessairly people who are not in set B are in set A, they could be able to, but do not like with their elbows. So imagine there is a huge circle (the universal set, everyone), a smaller circle (set A) inside of it, the rest of it, U - (U-A), then is separeted between the ones in set B, and the others, wich are those that can like with their elbows, but choose not to (set C).
Anyways, there is no way that set B has 80% of U, and set A has 90% of U, because they both have to add to U (and we still have to count the set C) But you can't just add these percentages
