Second, they speak one uniform language Third, they are a Confucianist society that values, education, hardwork, discipline, respect for elders, respect for authority just like Singapore Fourth, they are homogenous not heterogeneous Fifth,......... Need I go on ??? Those reasons above make Vietnam formidable. They were down because of decades of war. That's why Asean countries want to work with China to advance their economies and create wealth and prosperity for their people. Most Asean countries do not want warmonger US.
