  52. Years ago the wife and I left an electric blanket folded once and laying on the sofa. The wife woke up during the night because she smelled smoke. The smoke was super thick, couldn't see anything and could barely breathe but I got the fire out. It ruined the sofa. I often ponder this night and think as if she would wake up. We died that night, surely... Before you ask, we lived in China so there were no smoke alarms.

  67. I live in a very hot Australian city but I never use AC because I know that we burn too much coal to make our electricity here thus cooling my room would be warming the planet. It's ok team, I'll take this one.
