@couteau86 International Law does not define reality. There was no referendum in Kosovo. Parlament of Kosovo, which was formed as temporary administration under UN mandate (not by people's vote), declared unilateral indepandence without agreement from Serbia.
In Chechnya in 2003 was a referendum, where majority of people who live there voted to be within Russian Federation.
While you mentioned war in Chechnya, in 2014, in Donbass, people formed Donetsk and Lugansk people's republic and held referendum on independense. Illegal Ukrainian govenment sent army against them. Those people don't have any rights for self-determination? And people in Crimea don't have rights too? The only difference is political orientation of separatists.
And, again and again, reality is what actually exist, not what "international law" says. When you deny that Crimea is part of Russia, you create false reality. Maps should always represent factual information, not political views of certain people like you.
