Zelensky through whole meeting said multiple times in various forms that he does not trust Putin, does not want negotiations, he wants US troops in Ukraine as "security guarantees". This is recipe for global war, not for lasting peace. In order to make peace dead, both sides should agree. Zelensky literary said "no compromise with killer Putin" . And exactly this kind of rhetoric was catalyst for Russian invasion in 2022.
